How long have you lived in Lakewood?

I have lived in Lakewood for 40 years.

What motivated you to enter public service? 

I have been involved for many years serving on the Two Creeks Board, VP of a Parent-Teacher Organization, citizen member for Lamar St. Arts, WCCA, West Colfax, Lamar Station, Wadsworth overlay plans.  

What issues are you most passionate about? 

Ward 2 is a diverse area and I want to ensure that all voices are heard. Walkable and well-lit areas to increase accessibility. Historical preservation of Lakewood landmarks, diverse housing stock for all citizens. Forty West Arts District, the ArtLine and increasing parkland.

What do you like to do in your spare time? 

I have a passion for traveling and when life gets back to "normal" entertaining and working on a mountain retreat.

What is your professional and/or educational background? 

Received a BA with a double major in history and communications, MSS in communications with an ADR certification and paralegal certification; Six Sigma master level certifications.

I am married with three girls.
